Soil Formation and Agrology

Kish Island over millions of years after the creation constantly exposed to changing environmental conditions and sea water was going up and down. Glacial and interglacial periods is often long and sometimes were subject to change.
During the glacial ice that covers much of the land and the water of oceans and seas of arctic and its margins became huge masses of ice, Water of oceans and seas in other parts of the world went down and the water release the land and rollback. In these situations, the Persian Gulf waters because of this phenomenon, sometimes become shallow and dry and its bed become to a broad and green and full of plants valley for a long time. And at this time, the current “Arvandrood " poured into the Gulf of Oman in bed depth of this valley. At this time, the island in the northern slopes of this valley become to a Large ridge of hills like with a height of 50 meters that was favorable habitat of plants and animals and even men of the time.
Above the hills (the island) in alternation between drought periods, that sometimes last tens and even hundreds of thousands of years, Were erosion because of rainwater and alluvial deposits resulting from its erosion along with dust and the surviving remnant of the torn tissues of plants and animals accumulated on it. During Interglacial periods when the weather warms up, seawater rise again by melting ice, the valley of the Gulf (Persian Gulf substrate) was covered with water, and lumps converted to island. At the peak of heat and raising more water at this time, the island was submerged and corals and shellfish and other aquatic animals grew and developed on it. During this period, wave shocks caused by storms and winds, gradually remnants of limestone reefs and seashells in the form of new shell –like sedimentary layer with marine origin (terrace) on previous coverage with dry origin is created.
Eleven thousand years have passed from the last glacial period that caused of the formation of island. As a result of relentless heat of the air and land in this period, and frequency of precipitation on the island, alluvial deposits settled in everywhere. Plants grow on it and animals living on its habitat. Gradually, the remains of this plants and animals along with alluvial deposits was formed a thin layer of soil on old layers of coral (Survivors from flooded).
